Reception on board M/V Pacific

M/V Pacific Quail's M/V Pacific is without any doubt one of the most famous cruise ships of all time.

She was built in 1971 as M/V Sea Venture at Rheinstahl Nordseewerke in Emden, Germany. From 1976 to 1986 she was a famous "TV star" as she was the original Love Boat®. There is probably no other ship in history which accommodated more Hollywood stars than the Pacific.

The ship is being completely renovated this year which means she is in a good state. It is 168.74 meters long and 24.59 meters wide.

The Pacific has room for 658 passengers and the crew size is 358 - the ratio of passengers to crew is about 1 to 2. This means that you can expect a pleasant atmosphere without long queues at buffets, advance bookings of the shows or tours are not necessary, and everything has a more personal touch!
